The “Mission B” (also known as the “Old Style Mission B”) is one of three models made by Brunswick with “Mission” in the title.  The other two are the “St. Bernard Mission” and the “Monterey Mission”.

 

As with many models, there are minor variations in the Mission B.  It is the heaviest built table of the three, with a deep cabinet and the legs are solid, unlike most square legs.

 

This style of leg – square and tapering in toward the bottom – is also often seen on tables by Boston manufacturers.

 

At this writing, we have two Mission B tables available for restoration.  One is ball-return with the extra thick (1 ½”) slate.  The other is pocket with standard (1”) slate.  Both are nine foot.
